This workshop is for any person who wants to work on her/his/their relationship with food & body. This includes those struggling with negative body image, weight issues, compulsive eating, or anxiety about food; as well as those in recovery from an eating disorder. No yoga experience is required.
In this two-hour workshop, we will explore therapeutic yoga practices, including restorative yoga poses, breathing techniques, and guided visualizations; to specifically address food and body image problems. The concepts of intuitive eating and intuitive movement will be presented, with time for discussion and questions.
